Who am I?
Ruben Gutierrez Jr is a passionate and driven professional transitioning from entrepreneurship to the entertainment industry, with a strong foundation in narrative and media development. After years in a stable but unfulfilling career managing his own business, he made the bold decision to start over and pursue his true passion: filmmaking. He graduated from The Los Angeles Film School with a 3.9 GPA, where his academic focus included courses in pre- and post-production, story structure and analysis, script coverage, and the business of writing. He is a proud member of the Honor Society of the Entertainment Arts, and his professional background includes work with AAA video game publishers like Electronic Arts and Activision, where he collaborated on marketing visuals and directed scripted gameplay content.

Known for his adaptability, high attention to detail, and visionary creativity, Ruben is dedicated to advancing the landscape of film and television through impactful contributions in creative development at a leading studio. With an ambition to evolve into a producer, Ruben aims to oversee and manage diverse projects, from greenlighting innovative concepts to ensuring smooth production execution. His passion lies in curating and elevating projects that resonate with audiences worldwide, vetting scripts, and strategically guiding projects through every stage of development to ensure they achieve their full creative and commercial potential. To build a strong foundation for this path, Ruben specifically enrolled at the Los Angeles Film School to major in screenwriting, believing that a deep understanding of storytelling makes for a more insightful and creatively driven executive, the kind he aspires to become.
